Study on the quality index of pollen quality of Fuji Apple pollination

Fuji apple is the main plant varieties in Shaanxi, there is a serious self incompatibility. Artificial pollination technology can improve the problem of poor pollination and fertilization of Fuji, and improve the yield and quality of apple. In this study, March 2013 -2014 year in April in the water area of Shaanxi, the pollination varieties suitable for pollination by pollen production, and related biological characteristics research, the key links of pollen, pollen production activity, powder amount, pollen storage, pollination pollen activity index related test, to provide reference for the later develop pollen production standards and production practice. The results obtained are as follows: 1 the new red, Gala Qinguan, varieties of pollen can be used as Fuji apple pollen pollination, three cultivation area in Shaanxi is large, single drug powder amount higher respectively 8083 or 9616 grain, 8000 grain. After harvest a week to maintain a better pollen activity: the new red star 92%, GA 69.4%, Qin Guan 53.4%. Pink lady is not suitable for the production of pollination with pollen, the reason is that the variety of the low amount of powder, the amount of a single powder is only 4833, the pollen activity is only 40.4%. 2 natural drying and drying method, the new red, pink lady, Gala, Qinguan pollen activity loss rate were 89%, 37%, 67%, 34%, so the pollen production should choose 25 degrees oven fast drying, and after drying the moisture content of 10%-11% pollen storage is the best. 3 the determination of pollen viability in vitro culture was better than the method of dyeing, 10% sucrose and 1% agar were the best concentration of apple pollen in vitro culture medium. The TTC staining method was not suitable for the determination of apple pollen activity. 4 the effect of temperature on the pollen viability was maintained, and the lower the temperature, the longer the pollen activity was. The pollen viability could be maintained at 4 degrees C for half a year, but the pollen viability of the -18 storage could be lost at the first half of the year, but it could meet the need of pollination in the next year, and the loss of pollen activity was the lowest in the environment of -40. 5 pollination with pollen germination rate of not less than 12%, the fruit setting rate is as high as 85%, can meet the needs of pollination. 6 plant growth regulators on the promotion of apple pollen activity is not obvious, with the increase in the concentration of the inhibitory effect on the germination of pollen, the artificial supplementary pollination is not suitable for use as an additive.
