Benefits and Methods of Artificial Pollination of Pear Trees

Publisher:Yu Guo PollenPublished:2019/4/8Hits:5529

Benefits of artificial pollination of pear flowers:
1. Pear blossoms are self-pollinated plants. They do not pollinate artificially and normally produce fruit. But compared with natural pollination, the fruit setting rate of pear trees is much lower than that of artificially pollinated ones. If pollinated trees are few or poorly allocated, natural fruit setting will be very few. Artificial pollination is necessary for high yield.
2. The temperature is changeable in spring. Sometimes the flowering season will encounter severe weather, such as cold current, rainy day, dry and hot wind. In some years, the main varieties and pollinating varieties will not meet at the flowering stage. Bees will not enter the chamber and flowers will not be picked. In order to harvest well, artificial pollination must be carried out.
3. If you encounter a big year of fruit trees, the orchard has a large amount of flowers, although bees can be released to increase fruit setting rate, but although there are many fruit sets, the rate of high-quality fruit is very low, high yield but not high harvest. Flowers are plentiful in the new year. Artificial pollination can select high-quality flowers. One high-quality flower is given every 20-25 centimeters from top to bottom. If there are many exporting countries, the tree nutrition will be saved. It can not only improve the fruit setting rate, but also ensure the production of high-quality fruit. In a small year, the orchard has fewer flowers, so it can have more flowers to make up for the shortage of yield in a small year.
4. The pollen grains on the stigma of pistil are abundant, which can not only improve the fruit setting rate, but also ensure the production of large and high-quality fruits.
Artificial pollination of pear flowers:
(1) Artificial point-feeding: the treated pollen was mixed in a dry vial in the proportion of 10 crude pollen and 2 Pink incremental agents, and 2 pure pollen and 1 incremental agent. Use a pencil or goose hair ear stick with rubber head to dip some pollen, gently dip it into the heart of the first flowering flower, 3-5 flowers can be given once, 2 central flowers can be given at each inflorescence point of apple, 2 edge flowers can be given at each inflorescence point of pear tree, pay attention not to weak flowers and tip flowers. The sparkling distance depends on the amount of flowers planted by tree species and cultivars. This method is more labor-intensive, but fruit setting is accurate and reliable, and fruit development is good.
(2) Pollination method: 1 portion of pure pollen plus 2-3 parts of incremental agent (depending on the germination rate of pollen), after fully mixing and mixing, put into the sprayer or special pollinator, spray evenly on the trees at the early stage of flowering.
This method is labor-saving and efficient, and suitable for large-scale orchards with less labor. Coarse pollen can not be used in spraying method, but pure pollen can only be used.
